Something happened recently that amazed me. I use a couple of 8 gb Calumet ProSpec UDMA cards with my 5d. When I get shooting I usually fill the first one and half the second one before I get back to my computer to download. So I like to keep the second card handy while I’m shooting with the first. I usually keep the second card in my camera bag but for a reason I can’t remember I decided to put the second card in my pant pocket and then forgot about it.

This is my very first post to this blog. This is a blog where I share my experiences with my Canon 5D Mark II. I started the blog with the desire for the sharing to be a two way street. I’ll make my personal observations from my perspective and with my knowledge want readers of this blog to do the same.

I’ll also be sharing more information about my background and experience in photography moving forward as well. Here's a small bit of information to kick thing off: I currently have a Canon Rebel XSi so the 5D will be a nice step up for me.
